The basic skeletal of this research revolves around the
question of how reality television affects the behavior of young adults through
their mid-twenties. In today's society, reality television is not a new phenomenon;
instead it is a prevalent component of the modern society. Due to the fact that
the age group that we are studying is of our own, the information is also
related and applicable to our own lives. It is important to study the effects of reality television because it affects the young adults, who are the younger
generation. The effects of reality television on women, has especially negative consequences as seen here. The effects of reality television are widespread, and may affect
audiences both positively and negatively; therefore it is of great importance
to study what the effects are to watching such shows. Various content analysis
as well as literature research will be carried out from previous academic
sources to fuel this research question.
